About InsureScenario

Insurance should be understood, not just sold.

A Lagos-based InsurTech company bridging the insurance literacy gap across Africa, through interactive simulations that help people experience insurance before they buy it.

InsureScenario founding team
Our story

Born from frustration with how insurance is perceived across Africa.

The founders came from insurance, game design, and behavioural philosophy. Despite their different backgrounds, they shared one observation: most people reject insurance cover until it is too late.

People aren't avoiding insurance because they don't care. They are avoiding it because brochures, jargon, comparison tables and word-of-mouth explanations fail to connect emotionally.

So we built a platform where understanding is earned through experience, and partner with insurers to deliver that experience in their voice.

Our mission is simple: helping African insurers turn curiosity into understanding, trust, and purchase, through interactive scenarios.

FOUNDED 2026·LAGOS, NIGERIA

We are building the moment before insurance is bought. The moment someone first understands why they need it.

What drives us

Two principles. One direction.

The two values behind every product decision we make at InsureScenario.

01

Empathy first.

Built for people who never understood insurance. The first-time buyer. The curious learner. The woman in Lagos wondering if motor cover is worth it. The man in Accra whose brother just lost a roof.

02

Experience over explanation.

People learn through experience. Brochures don't move anyone. Lived scenarios do. Insurance is no different. The stakes are real, so the learning has to feel real too.
